Since Sigma Chi's installation on May 23, 1884, the Alpha Xi chapter at the University of Kansas has stood as a beacon of brotherhood, courage, and unwavering character. Born as the vision of Charles L. Smith and under the guidance of Reverend Alaric S. Embree and William H. Lichty, of Sigma Chi Alpha Epsilon chapter. For more than 125 years, Alpha Xi has upheld the ideals of academic excellence, community service, and lifelong bonds. As Sigma Chi returns to KU, Alpha Xi's revival will honor its rich heritage and ignite the next generation of leaders ready to carry forward a legacy built on tradition, resilience, and inspiring friendship.
Now, as Sigma Chi prepares to write the next chapter of Alpha Xi's storied legacy, we invite the bold, the driven, and the visionary to step forward. Help rebuild history, shape the future, and leave a mark that will endure for generations.
