WHAT IS STRUCTURED RECRUITMENT?
Structured Recruitment is run by IFC and thus is different from Unstructured Recruitment. Some other differences include that Structured Recruitment occurs during specific dates and times, all the chapters and PNMs (potential new members) will be in one place, and everything is hosted by IFC.
This type of recruitment is better suited for those who are looking for:
To settle in at the University before joining a fraternity
To live in the dorms before moving into the chapter house (if the chapter is housed)
To meet many chapters all in one place
STRUCTURED RECRUITMENT- FALL 2023
Are you or someone you know interested in joining a fraternity at KU? The KU Interfraternity Council (IFC) is thrilled to announce their IFC Fall Structured Recruitment 2023 experience open to all incoming and current, full-time KU students! This experience will occur in Fall 2023! This is a great new opportunity for individuals who are looking for a way to get involved and meet other amazing Jayhawks!
Reminder: You must be a KU student to register for Structured Recruitment
IMPORTANT DATES:
July 24th: Registration Opens
Night of August 28th: Registration Closes
August 28th - 31st: Formal Recruitment
August 28th: First Round, Open Event - Fraternity Introductions over Zoom
August 29th: Second Round, Open Event - In-Person Meet and Greet at the Student Union
August 30th: Third Round, Invite Only - In-Person Activities and Continued Conversations at Student Union
August 31st: Fourth Round, Invite Only - In-Person House Tours or Third-Party Hosted Events
By the night of August 31st, you will be able to accept a bid from a Fraternity!
